Over the years I have been commissioned to produce both public &
private site-specific artworks. For each commission I have strived
to create a sculptural image specific to the site, and with concepts
relevant to those viewers who will spend the most time with the artwork.
This section of the website deals specifically with commissions as
opposed to exhibitions or other art events.
I like my sculpture to be approachable, with elements of whimsy and
humour. In some of my commissions I have had the opportunity to create
oversize images, which the viewer can literally step into, allowing
them to see the artwork from many unique perspectives. I encourage
interaction, some sculptures are large enough to walk into, the bronze
sculptures are robust enough for children to play on, and some ask
the viewer to re-interpret the image presented before them.
