Bray, Co. Wicklow & Grindelwald, Switzerland, 2008. 400mm x 300mm, etched 3mm thick bronze plate
For this commission three plaques were created, one sited in Bray, one in the town of Grindelwald at the base of the Eiger, and the third plaque partway up the mountain near a chalet from which Charles Barrington would have begun his climb.
Miniature plaques were also produced in aluminimum to hand out to various sponsors and relevant officials and politicians.
