Check the Flash Movie left to see if you have the Flash 4 or higher plugin. I would recommend that you update to the latest version to view the more interactive aspects of my projects that involve use of Flash 4+ commands.
**NEW** I started this while doing my Masters at Trinity. Using Flash's capacity to draw on the fly, this movie dynamically creates a fractal that responds to user interaction. Using a slider button the user can change the one of the fractal's initial state parameters, thus radically changing the visual outcome (not a pre-drawn animation). 13KB
I figured this fractal out on paper while doing a long haul flight to Chicago. This Flash movie employs mathematical calculations, the dynamic building of a database, and draws the image to screen on the fly (not a pre-drawn animation). 4KB
I made this a while back, just re-touched it up in time for Halloween, enjoy! 110KB Originally created to teach students about the drag and drop feature available within Flash, this movie also employs mouse-over functions and frame by frame animations. The background of castle, moon & clouds are adapted from photographs.
Welcome to my take on the space invaders phenomena. There are 4 levels to play through, each more difficult than the last. Do your best to protect the citizens of Earth from the invading alien hordes! 54KB
Dodge the cuboid asteroids
and guide Cubey to safety. A little game that I threw together
to improve my Flash coding skills, and because it was fun! 21KB
This effect is put together with 4 frames of action-script.
Another good preloader weighing in at only 4KB. It may run a
little slow on some machines, but looks fantastic on more recent
Pentiums.
Check out 9 different Flash samples files through this handy
Flash GUI (Graphic User Interface). An example of the Flash
capability to load external files, this has 2 benefits. The
individual files are smaller than an overall Flash movie would
be, which means faster download times. To update animation content,
only the external files need be changed. File size: 23KB + external
files.
I
was a runner-up prize winner in the "Cork Dry Gin Art of
Refreshment Awards", August 1999 with this combination
of Illustrator & Flash. The Cork Dry Gin logo was provided
by the company. File size: 84KB.
